CCSTUDIO: TIREX missing file errors making tirex unbrowsable

Part Number: CCSTUDIO

Tool/software:

Hello,

There seems to be a persistent issue where a missing file or misconfiguration somewhere causes tirex to just completely give up on displaying anything even if it's not related to the missing content.

Is there a way to fix this so that there's only an error on the missing content instead of making the entire tree unbrowsable?

Munan

  • Hi Munan,

There is a known issue where Resource Explorer is unable to handle softlinks in scanned packages. Resource Explorer does look for in C:\ti by default so SDKs installed in there even if was installed separately outside of Resource Explorer would still be scanned.

Try removing them from the SDK or move the SDK someplace else to use REX.

    Thanks

  • Hey Ki,

This is on the online version though accessed through dev.ti.com does that read through your local filesystem as well?

Yeah dev.ti.com/tirex will scan for packages in your local file system to see what packages you have installed in there.
