TDA4VH-Q1: What is the typical current at VDDSHV5 rail.

Part Number: TDA4VH-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello,

I wanted to know that what are the Min, Max and Typ current values for VDDSHV5 rail.

And, also what are the Min, Max and Typ current values for 3V3 and 1V8 rail at SOC side (i.e. VDDA_3P3_USB).

Thanks

Sayali

  • The VDDSHV rails are IO bank, and thus their power values are dependent on the load the IO are driving, the toggle frequency, etc.   There is a power estimation tool available to help with this data:  Link

  • Hi,

    Thanks for response.

Okay. But can you tell me what are the current values at VDD_SD_DV_3V3 and VDD_SD_DV_1V8 rail?

  • Note the VDD_SD_DV_3V3 and VDD_SD_DV_1V8 rails are the same power rail.  This is a dual voltage IO rail for SD card.  It operates at either 3.3V (default) or 1.8V (for UHS-I speeds).  The regulator sources the IO power rails VDDSHV5.  This sources only the MMC1 IO ( 6 total IO).  Again the power demands are dependent on load and IO frequency.  Our design uses a 200mA LDO which should be sufficient for most cases.

Note this is NOT related to VDDA_3P3_USB - which is also mentioned in the original thread.
