unable to build the devkit8000 gingerbread source code with dsplink

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP3530

Hi,

I am trying to build the gingerbread source code for devkit8000 board. It is creating the system.img file in out/target/product/devkit8000.

Then it is showing error while doing dsp-link. The error is as follows:

I think the compiler is unable to find out COPY defination in lad.xv7A binary file. If anyone facing similar type of problem, kindly suggest, as i am very new at dsp-link side.

  • Hi Raku,

I'd suggest you contact Embest and/or their community forum (http://www.armkits.com/product/devkit8000.asp) as they provide the support for the devkit8000 board. Our suspicion (from the TI software team here) is that there may be a mismatch between the Linux toolchain and the xdc-generated linker command file ti_platforms_evm3530/lad_xv7A.xdl. But Embest should be able to give you more guidance on which version to use.

    Best regards,

    Vincent
