I Got the 8148EVM with daughter board and LCD yesterday.

I will trying to test the video CaptureandEncode demo,

i have a DVD with HDMI output. so how to use DVI or VGA instead of component input ?

in the demo, i changed the port id to 2A, and colorformat to RGB888, but it does not work.

or can I test video loopback by v4l2 demos?

The DVD player will output HDMI with copy protection so you will not be able to connect this to the EVM unfortunately.

The DVI capture on the daughter is still under plan, currently, only component capture is supported.

Please refer to v4l2 loopback example to see how tvp7002 works.
