PROCESSOR-SDK-AM62X: Network boot using RMII and 100 MB ENET

Can you explain what you mean by "network boot"? Do you mean booting into U-boot via Ethernet?

What is the intended use-case/application here? (e.g. Boot into U-boot via Network to flash Linux binaries into eMMC, etc?)

Hi Daolin, 

"Network Boot" means booting to U-Boot via RMII ethernet over the network. You're correct in assuming that it would mean connecting to the network to flash linux binaries into eMMC.

In this instance, we're wanting to boot on AM62L. Is the same issue present on this chip?

Upon a quick look through AM62L Linux SDK documentation, I'm not seeing any mention of the "Booting over Ethernet (Ethernet RGMII)" section that was present on AM62x Linux SDK documentation.

I have to check with the internal team if this missing documentation was a mistake or if AM62L just doesn't support Ethernet boot. Please kindly ping this thread if you don't hear back by Monday.
