  • Hello,

The pictures appear like the right pod+cable+adaptor are in use for the board.   Some actual pictures or videos of exactly of what you are seeing may be needed to understand the actual error.  If you are new to TRACE32 I'd tend to guess your PC side USB driver isn't properly associated.   Its possible your power supply is might be going up and down.  Its possible that something is damaged on the board and the IO power isn't there.

Lauterbach does have the board you are showing and they do have some back test scripts in the ./t32/demo/arm/hardware/ area you should be able to run to pipe clean your setup.  Their support may also give you some ideas.

As a pointer-hint, you should look at the debug-field in the status bar.

a red color means "no power", if its red it means the debugger is seeing 0 volts on the debugger reference voltage at the JTAG header.

If its a dark gray, there is power to the header, but its not attached to the target yet:

If its green its connected and the target is running
From green it can go to simple matching-background gray (for things like halted ...)
The color transition in normal use will be like above (red, drarkgray, green, gray).   If the target is resetting constantly it will flash red.

  • Hi Richard,

After checking the power of EVM board again, I can run the T32 demo script (./t32/demo/arm/hardware/J721e) and got the running state.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Hello May,

    Glad your now moving forward.
