Any ways to configure A15 frequency after Linux boot?

I try this but now succeed.

#
echo userspace > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor

#
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_available_frequencies

#
echo 1500000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_setspeed

Hello Zekun,

What SDK are you utilizing?

I think power management has been dropped in the latest SDKs.

It is not included in the Kernel notes for 9.3 SDK.

Hi Josue:

another issue: I configure the mode is ondemand in am5716,( there are three freq level 1000000 1176000 1500000)

cpu used 16-45% freq in 1176000

cpu used 90%+ freq reaches 150000

1. I want to known Does AM5716 have adaptive capability?

2. why is it 117600 instead of 1000000 when cpu in 16%?

3.I want to known switching thresholds for these three levels.

Zmg,

Are you mixing the two or are you using both SDKs?
Can you give some more detail on what you mean with your answer?

The power capabilities of the device are delineated in the TRM but whether they are available in our SW is a different story, this is why I make the above question.

Which does not mention AFS capability.

2 & 3 I will need to confer internally with a power engineer.

no, such as sdk6.3 in the picture above, The frequency does vary according to CPU utilization

2. Can you give some more detail on what you mean with your answer?

(1) I'd like to verify whether this dynamic scaling is supported by the chip, and whether the displayed frequency represents the actual processing frequency.. (2)Additionally, if these frequency transitions are adjusted based on CPU utilization, what is the specific regulation threshold?
