AM6526: SoC selection confirmation

Tool/software:

We are looking for SIL certified SoC with minimal one ARM-A53 , one ARM-R5 core, 2 Ethernet, 5 UART and support for display for CPU board. we have identified AM6526 for our application.Please suggest give suggestion on the same. While Going through AM64x display subsystem support was not there and AM62X is yet to get SIL certification . Please clarify can we go head with with AM6526.

We are not recommending AM65 for new design.

So, you can please go with either the AM64X or AM62x family devices for your requirements.

Yes I noticed. We are actually trying to finalize SoC and trying to get support from TI in different ways in this regard. It would be really helpful to a have a one on one discussion. Please suggest any contact details.

I am summarizing the discussion and closing the thread.

Thank you for your guidance and support. Can we go head with SoC AM6421 as it is SIL certified also having minimal cores- 2 Arm Cortex-R5F and 1 Arm Cortex-A53. Which is suitable for our application too. Please clarify the same. Thank you

The AM64x is being actively supported. Please go ahead using the AM64x processor family.

Regarding the selection of the specific orderable part number please refer the data sheet device comparison section.

I suspect you will have to choose one of these OPNs

I check with the team internally and the recommendation is to chose one of the OPN from the above list that supports safety.
