AM62P: Can I run this Part @ 3W without a heatsink at 85c Ambient?

Hi, 

I have an assigned focus customer that uses their processors in a closed enclosure that rises to 85 Ambient.

I ran some thermal spreadsheet analysis of the AM62P and it appeared it would worst case draw in the neighborhood of 3W.  I notice the part on the EVM does not have any sort of heat sink.

My question is do we have some rules of thumb about if a part is able to run without a heat sink @ 3W?  2W?  1W?  They are using an AM335x at 800MHz without a heatsink and it works fine.  The estimate somewhere around 1W.
