Exploring the OMAP 4 graphics accelerator

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: 4460

Hi,

I've got a PandaBoard ES with an OMAP4460 processor on it. I am exploring its suitability for an embedded application in the kiosk space.

I have an embedded ap/OS (boot-to-app) and I would like to be able to program to the graphics accelerator, but I have yet to find docs on that.

I could use a pointer to a technical reference manual or a datasheet which is a bit more indepth than the 4460 TRM (which only talks about the registers and not how to set up various operations). My critical need is for the 2D acceleration windows, bitblt type ops, fills, etc. But 3D would be nice for eye candy (transitions Etc.)

Where can I find resources on this subsystem in the OMAP 4460 chip?
