Has Texas Instruments stated whether the AM64x R5F ROM Bootloader (RBL) is suitable for use in systems requiring DO-178C compliance, or whether it adheres to any related industry standards for safety-critical applications?

I ask this, since RBL's source code is not available. it is like a black box.

ROM does not follow any safety standard, generally TI position is that safety loop starts once ROM has completed execution and handed over control to the bootloader.

In general ROM should almost be considered a silicon feature and should be treated as black box.
