DM6443 JPEG Decoder with rotation feature

Hi,

I am using JPEG decoder (version 02_00_02_00) on DM6443 based board. I can decode and resize JPEG images without any issue. But we have requirement to rotate JPEG images by 90 degree. Is there any way to rotate decoded images ?

Hi Dilip,

Rotation is not supported on this JPEG decoder.

Hi Roopesh,

We checked datasheet of dm644x decoder and we did not any way to rotate JPEG image. This feature is available in DM355 decoder. Do you know if any other previous release of dm644x decoder supported this feature ?

Currently we have to rotate decoded YUV image on ARM side and that takes arounf 200 milliseconds for 720x480 resolution YUV image. do you know any other fast way to rotate JPEG image ?

Hi Dilip,

This feature is not supported on DM644x platform. Please give it a try using DM365 JPEG decoder.
