SK-AM62P-LP: how to decode local video file to dpi interface

Hi Dongcan,

Since MAX9275 is a serializer how are you interfacing this with our AM62P SoC? Don't you need to have a deserializer providing either CSI output or DPI/LVDS to interface with our SoC?

Can you provide a schematic for us to review the setup?

       THE MAX9275 is directly connected to the DPI port

The input of MAX9275 serializer is LVCMOS and output is CML (Based on their data sheet). DPI is a display interface that is supported on AM62P. 

Could you explain on the format that the serializer is outputting? Would you not need a compatible deserializer and then connect that to the AM62P DSS to  render on the display?

    The format i expect is rgb24.  deserializer does exist， I just don't know how to decode the video and transfer the decoded data via DPI OR LVDS

Please provide a visual of your setup with our AM62P board, so we can understand what you are trying to do?

          on the evm board of am62p, I can play videos via gst-launch-1.0 and output them via HDMI. Currently, the board I'm using doesn't have these peripherals. I want to directly output the decoded video data via DPI without going through HDMI
