Compiling DVR-RDK on Suse 11.2

We use Suse 11.2 as our development platform. However, after successfully installing DVR-RDK version 1_06_00_11, we getting error while compiling hdvpss target.

The error we get is while compiling vps_evtMgr.c. Error is related to trying rename file from /tmp to its target folder.

Is there any known problem with using Suse with DVR-RDK?

    Hi Kamlesh,

    We have not tried SUSE linux distribution, but have surely tried multiple variants of Ubuntu and Fedora. We have not seen any problems in doing any sort of compilations. I did not get details of the error from your post, so i cannot comment on the exact reason of compilation failure. Can you please share the failure log so that we can try to analyze and provide some feedback? I dont have a SUSE environment, otherwise i would have tried it at our end to validate the build system.
