AM62A3: Camera Sensor through MIPI CSI

Can camera sensor's that is written at AM62A Linux Academy can be used as MIPI CSI-2 camera even if its connection type is written as FPD-Link, I mean what should we change in order to get images from camera through MIPI CSI-2 which should be connected through SerDes. Thanks.

The same sensor can be built in camera modules with various interfaces such as FPD-Link, MIPI CSI-2, etc. If you were asking about how to connect a camera directly to https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM62A-LP with any deserializer board, you'll need to find a camera module that has the 22-pin CSI-2 FPC connector.

Actually my question is about driver, for example OV2312 camera is used by FPD-Link, but if I can make a camera that can be connected to SK-AM62A-LP, than do I need to do anything related to driver, or driver is same even if we do not use SerDes. Thanks.

Ok. I understand you now. No, sensor driver is not dependent on the camera interface. You can specify the HW interface through device tree overlay.
