PROCESSOR-SDK-J721E: RTOS SDK

Hi team,
I am trying to build ipc_rtos_echo_test_freertos in the path pdk/packages/ti/build
The error I am facing is that the gcc compiler is not found. See reference.

Where can I download it and where should it put it or put the path?

Hello Ankit,

Go to your RTOS SDK folder inside and run

./sdk_builder/scripts/setup_psdk_rtos.sh

and then change the path of the tools installed in Rules.make file of PDK.

GCC might have downloaded in /home/ti/ path that you have to give that path here.

TOOLS_INSTALL_PATH ?= /home/ti/

Hi, can we do it without the setup file?
While setting up there are many filles that are non-compatible with my version of Ubuntu like the Python3-disutils.
My version of Ubuntu is 22 and my sdk versionn in 9. So can you suggest the most compatible sdk version that can be used for this Ubuntu version?

Hello Ankit,

No . You have to run the setup script to get all the required files. It changes will SDK versions .

Ubuntu version 22 is verified .

You need install proper python version in your machine.I am using Python 3.10.12 , so install this version and use.
