AM623: MCSPI MODULCTRL register FDAA bit

Hi,

Do we need to set FDAA bit in MCSPI MODULCTRL register when DMA and FIFO are used?
Below is TRM (SPRUIV7B) description.
It seems the bit needs to be set if DMA connected to MCSPI can handle only 256bit aligned address.
But we do not have such information.

I have run all MCSPI applications including the DMA ones, I see that this register's bit FDAA is not being set in any of them.

No we do not need to set this bit.

Please give the following example a try on the TI EVM and it will clarify the flow of how DMA takes place with MCSPI: mcspi_loopback_dma
