BEAGL-BONE-AI-64: Help with final step "Transition from cloud tool to Starter Kit hardware platform" of "Hello World" example on BeagleBone AI-64

Part Number: BEAGL-BONE-AI-64
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDA4VM, SK-TDA4VM

Tool/software:

Hello!

I'm following the steps from the hands-on coding guide for deploying the “Hello World” AI application on the TDA4VM (BeagleBone AI-64) board in this link:

dev.ti.com/.../node

Is there any image of Edge AI SDK (TDA4VM) should i install on SD card or emmc or how to use Edge AI SDK on the board so i can deploy the “Hello World” model exemple on bb ai-64??

Currently, I’m using the default image that came pre-installed on the eMMC:

BeagleBoard.org Debian Bullseye Xfce Image 2023-10-07.

When I reach the final step: “Transition from cloud tool to Starter Kit hardware platform,” I connect to the board via SSH and try to open the Jupyter Notebook using Firefox, but Firefox becomes unresponsive.

Could this be due to using the wrong image? How can i solve this problem so i can run my first ai costom model ?

Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Hi Chaima,

This Academy is written for the SK-TDA4VM. I doubt its been verified with the BBAI-64.

The BBAI-64 and SK-TDA4VM run on different distributions and kernels.

You should discuss with the BeagleBoard folks for advice on developing with the BBAI-64. Their Discord: https://beagleboard.org/discord
