Tool/software:
I've been looking at AM64x PRU support for industrial protocols. I see that TI provides PRU firmware for EtherNet/IP and PROFINET devices. I have searched the forums but the answers I'm getting are 2+ years old and I'm wondering if they are current.
1) Is PROFINET master PRU firmware available from TI?
2) Does TI PROFINET PRU device firmware support 1Gbps? It looks like 100Mbps/full is supported but 1Gbps is not, correct?
3) Is TI PRU MRP (media redundancy protocol) firmware separable (maybe with an API?) from the PROFINET PRU firmware, so MRP might be used stand-alone?
4) If PROFINET master/1Gbps firmware is not available from TI is it available from a third party?
