Part Number: AM625
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SK-AM62B-P1

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

There are different pull up values recommended on different documents for MMC1(SD) MMC1_DAT0-3 and MMC1_CMD lines.

sprad21h and sprado3a suggest 47kΩ

whereas

SK-AM62B-P1 schematic shows 10

Which should they follow?

  • Hello Mari Tsunoda

    Thank you for the query.

    Which should they follow?

We have been initially using 10K that you see on the SK-AM62B-P1. We will be updating the values in the next revision.

Based on the discussion with our device expert, we realized that there is a likely chance the pullup could be out of the SD card specification when a external pullup of 10K is used and processor internal pullups are enabled unexpectedly.

Using a 47K ensures that the pullups are within the SD card specification even in use cases where the internal pullups are enabled unexpectedly.
