MMC_CLK Series Resistor using DM3730

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730

Instead of placing a 33ohm resistor next to the DM3730 on the MMC1_CLK line, I placed it next to the SD connector, on the other side of the pullup.  Question:  Can I try shorting the 33ohm resistor in an attempt to get my uP to program?  FYI, I am trying to boot and program off an SD card--just like the beagle board.

The 33Ohm resistor is a series terminating resistor intended to help with with ringing and reflections in the design.  If the trace is short and near the processor the location of the resistor should not matter. If the trace is long, then the preferred recommendation is to place it near the procesor. However if you scope the signal and the edges look "good" then you should be fine.  If you want feel free to post your clock signal waveform and we can comment on the quality of the signal.   If you are looking to boot the processor in SD mode you definately need MMC1_CLK line.
