How many Serializers does mcasp4 have?

If I want to use mcasp4_AXR0 mcasp4_AXR1 as input, and mcasp4_AXR2 mcasp4_AXR3 as output to pass in and transmit 16 slots (TDM16) data, what is the data distribution like?|

Hi Eason,

What do you mean? The data layout you sent is reasonable.

The MCASP4 has 4 serializers and data lines that are accessible. You want to set 2 as RX and 2 as TX, that is fine. You also want to set the number of slots on each line to 8, that is also fine.

The TRM should reflect this.

If you want to see how to do this in Linux, you can read the davinci-mcasp-audio.yaml
