TDA4VH-Q1: How to invoke C7000 Compiler "auto_stream" option from CCS12.8.1

Part Number: TDA4VH-Q1

Tool/software:

We are using TI C7000 Compiler v5.0.0 with CCS12.8.1 for a C7120 development. We need to use the --auto_stream=no_saving option described in Section 4.15.9 of the Compiler user's guide www.ti.com/lit/spruig8 (excerpt below), but we do not see this option in the CCS project options. Please show us how to specify this option for a CCS based build.

For now I am manually entering the option by editing the compiler flags in CCS as shown in the screenshot. Please let me know if there is a better way.

Next time, use the article Finding Compiler Options in CCS. For others following this thread, this article does not apply to clang-based compilers like tiarmclang or c29clang.
