Hello all,

I have problem while reading the data from the I2C2_STAT register .Always failing in reading the data.Is my device problem ?

Because i have connected my device at 3.3 volts am getting everything correct .speed as 100khz. do i need to change anything in clock? if ,please suggest me how to set the clock?

its failed in getting the Status i.e., wait for pin . i have received status=1001.

In write case am able to write that is am getting the status = 1410 . where am success in writing .

can any one help me in this please i need to submit my project in two days.

Hello all,

As i have explained my problem above i have forgot one main thing that is in my device there is no memory internally and am very much confused in passing the addr(memory address in the chip) too.please help me its very urgent.

The DM3730 only operates at 1.8V I/O on the I2C bus. You can damage the device if the I2C bus voltage levels are going to 3.3V.

Are you saying you can't read the I2C registers in the DM3730 or you can't read/write the I2C device?

I am not able to read the data from the device.But here my device is of 3.3v and i am using I2C level shifter i.e., from 1.8 to 3.3v .

So its perfect.But in my device there is no memory register i need to write for chip itself .so, that it will send the reply depends on the Default command which i am sending

Please help on this..

Hi Ranjith,

May I know the I2C slave device part number that you are using in your design or else you have understand the TRM of the I2C slave device how to read and write to it.
