AM67A: dynamic size encoding via gstreamer

Hi TI experts,

We want to implement a function that can dynamically adjust the resolution of H.264 encoded streaming through external requests. The resolution requests may happen several times per second.So my question is:

Does the gstreamer-related plugin such as v4l2h264enc support dynamic modification of resolution ?

Hi Jialin Deng,

The v4l2h264enc plugin does not. You can use the tiovxmultiscaler plugin to modify the resolution, but I'm unsure whether it would be able to handle resolution changes on the fly.

You may need to write your own appsrc and appsink to change the resolution of the video.
