CCSTUDIO: CCS 20 in offline mode can't create new project

How can I create new project while I'm offline in CCS 20?

I get a message that "Resource Explorer" is offline and I can't continue from there.

I need the old CCS 12 menus like DSP/CPU type, empty project, main file empty etc. that create new empty project files.

Hello,

The new project wizard in CCS 20 relies on content on Resource Explorer. If there is no internet access, then then you should have the option to browse existing SDKs installed on your system. See the "warning" section of the below link:

I am glad to hear TI is looking at how to address this. But one way to workaround this problem is to import example projects directly from the file system.

To do this, you start with File->Import Project(s) rather than Create Project(s).

Then, you just need navigate to the SDK directory for your device. Here's an example for the CC1351R1 LaunchPad in Windows using CCSv20.2.0.
