AM62A7: The Image that create by DCC file can not open by photoshop

Part Number: AM62A7

Tool/software:

HI Ti Experts

My pictures of objects under the sun are overexposed and have serious color cast,

but the objects under the lights are not overexposed and the colors are normal.

I tried to get a frame to analyze the histogram,

but the raw file captured by DCC tools cannot be opened in photoshop.

Best Regards,

Meng

here is my raw properties

  • Hello Mr. Meng,

When the sensor's raw output has 12 bits per pixel, the raw files captured by the DCC tool or by other tools like yavta or v4l2-ctl contain pixel data in 16-bit entities. This format may not be recognizable by Photoshop.

My pictures of objects under the sun are overexposed and have serious color cast,

You should check the exposure and analog gain settings for the 2A algorithm, according to the ISP Tuning Guide, section 5.4.2 Add Exposure Setting for 2A Algorithm.

  • Hi Jianzhong,

    thanks for your suggest,

I am using an OX03C10 camera.

Can I use the DCC tool to debug WDR directly?

Or can I only debug WDR through the configuration register?

    Or can I use both?

    Best Regards,

    Meng.

  • Mr. Meng,

I don't fully understand what you mean by "debug WDR". Were you talking about the live tuning feature of DCC tool? Did you mean the exposure and gain registers in the tuning tool?

    Regards,

    Jianzhong
