AM3352: Do AM335 support 8-bit ECC or 16-bit ECC?

Customer want to check this feature supported by AM335.

AM335X_StarterWare_02_00_01_01， they use NAND FLASH with 8-bit ECC, but ROM code can not detect the BOOT media.

Do AM335 support 16-bit ECC or 8 bit-ECC?

Hi Zekun,
BCH8 & BCH16 are supported by AM335 ROM.
Please refer to "26.1.8.4 NAND" in AM335x TRM on GPMC-NAND support in AM335x ROM.

Thanks for reply.

The software code uses the library from the AM335X_StarterWare_02_00_01_01 bare-metal reference code on the TI SDK. However, the ECC initialization function in the library does not support 16-bit ECC. Is there a way to fix this?
The screenshot I post in the original question shows the NAND ECC initialization function in the library, which only supports BCH8.

Hi Zekun,
StarterWare_02_00_01_01 is no longer supported by TI.
One reference is AM335x Linux SDK, where BCH8/BCH16 is supported.
