Hello there,

The AM62x is capable of doing processing on the Linux A53 cores, RTOS or bare metal on the M4F core, and bare metal code on the PRU cores, and then passing data between all the cores. However, I am not an audio specialist, so I am not sure if we have evaluated M4F performance in audio usecases or not.

I understand that we can use Linux on the A53 cores and RTOS on the M4F cores.

But could we use Linux on one A53 core and RTOS on another A53 cores?

The AM62x has four A53 cores. 

Is it possible to run different operating systems on each A53 core?

Is your team in contact with Krithika & Sutton? They could provide additional guidance.
