H3A hardware missing in DM368?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320DM365

I've been very confused by some apparently contradictory information about the H3A block in the DM368. According to SPRS668C

"DM368 does not support the Hardware 3A statistics collection module (H3A)"

It sounds a lot like the hardware block is physically missing, or has some major errata in the dm368. However there is no mention of this massive difference in functionality in the TMS320DM365/DM368 Migration Guide (SPRABB2). Nor is there anything in the errata doc.

Other forum posts I've seen suggest that the above statement might mean that TI does not support the H3A block in terms of providing technical support / example code / libraries etc. However support can be obtained from 3rd parties.

Please could someone from TI clarify whether the 3A hardware block is physical present and if so, whether it functions correctly on the DM368.

Many thanks,

Alex
