pin T19, RSV2 in EVMAM1808

Hi,

I would like to ask a question with EVMAM1808.

[pin T19, RSV2], described in both AM1808 and OMAPL138 datasheets as should be tied to CVDD or left unconnected, is connected to a test point TP5 in EVMAM1808.

I don’t see any reason for this. Could anyone tell me its purpose?

T19/VPP is considered a RSV pin and should be handled as described in the latest datasheet. On the EVM it was brought to a TP for some internal testing, which is irrelevant for customer/production boards.

When in doubt, please always follow the guidelines in the latest datasheet , not the EVM.
