Tool/software:
I have been attempting to get the SK-AM62A-LP evaluation board to boot, but I haven't been able to get it working at all so far.
When I plug in USB-C power, LED LD3 flashes very quickly 15 times (I had to count using slow-motion video). After that, only LD4 remains on. LD4 is the LED next to the USB-C power port. The board acts the same whether I have an SD card with a boot image in or not, tisdk-edgeai-image-am62a-evm.wic.xz.
I'm also not seeing any output over UART. When I connect the UART micro-USB cable, the LED next to the port lights up, but I get no output on the terminal (baud 115200, 8N1, no flow control). I've tried multiple cables, Linux with screen, windows with TeraTerm and FTDI drivers. There is no HDMI video output, display stays blank and dead.
I have tried all sorts of USB-C power sources. I first tried the Raspberry pi power supply, I then tired a Dell laptop USB-c power supply. All sorts of cell phone chargers, so on.
I followed the quick start guild instructions as seen here: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__Ad1jyiEb4TjMlYdFT4ECGw__PROCESSORS-DEVTOOLS__FUz-xrs__LATEST.
My boot config switches were set correctly for microSD boot.
At this point, I'm not sure how to proceed.
-
Is there any documented meaning for LD3 flashing 15 times?
-
Do I have a bad board?
-
Is there a known recovery or debug method I could use?
