J784S4XEVM: MMCSD Registers all 0

Part Number: J784S4XEVM

Tool/software:

Hello,

we are currently facing an issue with MMCSD controller.

In out application we start the A72 and execute code from there. If we try to access the registers from the MMCSD controller, they are all zero.

Does the MMCSD device needs to be explicitly requested by SW after booting?

When we boot the SBL on the R5 I do not see anywhere a call to Sciclient_pmSetModuleState to activate the device, so I assume the initialization is alrady done.

Thank you in advance.

What is the boot media you are using? Can you try with eMMC boot mode?

Can you elaborate more on how you are trying to access the registers and what your application does as well.
