PASM with PRUSSv2 support ETA?

Hello,

Could someone please confirm when the PASM program with support for the PRUSSv2 will be available even if in beta form?

Thanks for the inquiry. The PRUSSv2 PASM for open platform development is not planned for release at this time.

The PRUSSv2 feature set is only planned to support the Industrial communications protocols included in the Industrial SDK: http://www.ti.com/tool/sysbiossdk-ind-sitara

I recommend that open pruss development be supported on the sitara line! The beaglebone was released with the 3359, and will most likely not be used with the industrial sdk. Having access to the PRUSS on the beaglebone opens up a world of possibilities.

I highly, highly, highly recommend this decision be reconsidered......

There's little to be gained from not releasing pasm_2, the BeagleBone is not a production ready product, and it's in the same price bracket as the IDK kit, there's no conflict of interest at all but a very large community to let down by not supporting pasm. I have already abandoned two projects that could have ultimately led to us placing orders with TI for this reason.
