Our previous SDK version was 0806, with two 2G DDRs. After correct configuration, the board could boot normally. Now we have upgraded to SDK RTOS version 1106 and directly use the previous DDR parameters. We found that during DDR init, an error message appears and the board freezes. We regenerated the same parameters using the latest configuration tool and found the same problem. Please check the log file below. Please transfer to TI to help find out why this problem occurs.

Hi,

I unfortunately am not a part of the software team so do not know what changed between the SDKs, but I do support the DDR interface and recently there was another customer who also made a similar claim (upgrading the SDK to 11.0 caused the DDR to not initialize when using the same register configuration).

In the other customer's case, it appeared that the commit below may be related, and the issue went away by removing the call to this function: J721S2_SetupLeoPmicAvs(SBL_OPP_NOM);
