Does your MMC driver support MMC 8 bit mode?
If not is it planned? I need best transfer speed possible for my design.

Only 4-bit mode is supported.

I don't have that information.
Hi Brandon,
We are considering 8-bit for faster transfers, only if we do not bring the card out to the user (internal only)
On previous DM6441 design, we used CF card behind a sealed door that sometimes the user did not close properly.
Our unit is IP67 so we are considering internal only for sealing purposes.

I am thinking iNAND eMMC 4.3 but not sure of DM814x support. The TRM discusses at 4.7.4.2.
Have you tried this?

Full compliance with MMC command/response sets as defined in the Multimedia Card System Specification, v4.3.
