Tool/software:
Hi Expert,
Can GPIO1_26/GPIO1_27 be used as I2C0?
Thanks
Daniel
Hello Daniel,
Sorry for my delayed response.
Would you mind telling me more details regarding your setup ?
1. Do you use a custom board or you use a TI AM62x EVM for the development ?
2. How do you intend to use the I2C0 : as a master or as a slave ?
3. What is the maximum desired transfer rate ?
4. Can you provide a schematic (if possible) ?
Kind Regards,
Anastas Yordanov
Hi Sir
I misunderstood the customer's needs.
The customer wants TI to help confirm whether GPIO1_26/GPIO1_27 can be used as a normal GPIO.
Thanks
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
In order to provide more details regarding an accurate GPIO1_26 and GPIO_27 usage on the AM623 I2C0_SDA and I2C0_SCL pins I need more information on the customer use-case:
1. Does the customer intend to also use I2C0 and/or any other of these pins available signals together ( multiplexed in time) with the GPIO1_26 and GPIO1_27 signals ?
2. What peripherals (loads) will be attached to the GPIOs in case they are used as outputs ?
3. It would be nice if customer can provide a schematic (if possible) ?
4. Would you mind updating the title of the thread to reflect the changed topic ?
Kind Regards,
