GStreamer with V4L2 on DM816x

I've downloaded and installed the latest release.

Im trying to use gstreamer. but I can only get video capture from a usb camera (using gst-launch v4l2src device=/dev/video0....etc). does the gstreamer have support to capture video from the component input or hdmi input port? (i'm using the DM816x eval board from Spectrum digital).

In the current release gstreamer element for V4L2 capture will not work component/HDMI inputs. We are working to add support for this, it will be available in the next SDK release. Alternatively you can check updates at gstreamer.ti.com where it might be available in couple of weeks.

Hi,

HDMI Input does not work,

becouse TI didn`t provide a V4L Driver for the Silicon Image Chip.

An other fault is, that the silicon image chip a DVI chip is, so the signal is dvi over hdmi not hdmi.

Hi,

I am using TI8168 processor. Here, how can I run the video in my target board in LCD. If any packages and procedures are there. If so, Please help me to run the video. I wanna run the video in my target.
