Hi,

The .tar.xz files cannot be used with the BalenaEtcher tool, which requires a .wic.xz file. Since the J721E Linux SDK does not provide a .wic.xz image, please refer to the following procedure to create an SD card.

Yes, I made SD card by script.

But seems it is a mistake and not intended, it is unlike usual. others all have a image for sd card flashing.

Hi,

Yes, this is intentional. For the J7 platforms (such as TDA4VM / J721E), TI does not provide a .wic.xz image. The documentation is written in a common way for all SDKs.
