Dear experts,
My customer (Magna) has encountered the following issue with VPBE and would really appreciate our help here
When we set the VPBE for the NTSC video output and monitor the output signal on Oscilloscope, the captured sequence was a bit different than the one presented in the data sheet (VPBE user guide) Figure 6 (Page 23).
The NTSC Vertical timing on the scope followed the same shape as in the User Guide until the HSYNC 21 which is supposed to be the first active line, but instead we got black first line.
It looks like the CVBS sync sequence from 10 to 21 HSYNC got extended by 1 so it lasts from 10 to 22 HSYNC, but on the screen we see the first line which is Black.
The whole image got shifted Vertically down by 1 line. This first Line is Black and is presented in the output image captured by the Frame Grabber.
Have you seen this problem before with the NTSC output?
I think it has to do something with the VPBE setup as the first image line is not set to 0 (Black).
We have verified that the first image line stored in the external memory is different than 0 and the VPBE pointer points to that first line.
Thanks,
Michael
