Tool/software:

We observed that the TDA4VM processor was initially functioning normally, but later began to heat up unexpectedly.

After checking the setup and conditions, it appears the issue may be related to the processor itself. We’re currently looking into this and will provide further updates as we investigate.

    Yes, we worry about the processor heating. This is certainly the reason for the heat sink on the part.
    If you want a quick answer, try blowing a fan across the board; a little air movement helps all of those fins dissipate the heat.

    Within the device, there are thermal sensors that can be programmed to trigger an interrupt or assert a reset.
