a problem using AIF

hello,

Now i do some research about AIF on TMS320C6474EVM. i have a example which can run on DSP1,but the same example can not run on DSP2. i think it must be a register set that is should be changed, can you explain which register should be changed? thanks !

  • There is not enough information here to fully understand the situation or to help you.

Where did the example come from?
What does it mean to say "the same example can not run on DSP2"?
Have you looked at the AIF wiring to see how they compare between the two DSPs? Perhaps they use different AIF channels or ports?

    Firstly, thanks your reply!

I'm sorry! I have forgotten  to send this project to you. The example on the top only runs on DSP1(one DSP on tms320c6474evm),but it can not run on DSP2(the other DSP on tms320c6474evm),. I chose the link 1 in the project . Maybe some registers needed to be set. But i did not find. I do not know whether you can see the project. If not, i will send it to you again. Thanks!

Your project is visible, yes. You may have the good fortune that someone sees it and decides to debug your code for you, but I will not be able to do that.

In my previous post, I asked some questions intended to help us understand what is happening with your system and to guide you in finding your problem.

Please go to TI.com and search for IACLib. IACLib stands for Inter-DSP AIF Communication Library and may help as example code for you to use to compare with your own example.
