Hi expert,

Our customer would like to use this serdes as USB. Do they need the external clock? Or the SoC can generate clk internally? Thanks

    Hi Xingyu,

    All our SoC device's SERDES can generate an internal reference clock (100MHz or 156.25MHz) that can be used for supporting SERDES protocols. The internal ref clock can also be used to support SSC.

    This helps to reduce the overall BOM cost by not having an additional component on the board as an external clock.
