Because the thread https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1344000/am625-dpi-panel-sample-code-on-uboot?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=am62x%2520panel%2520dpi# was blocked, I would like to ask for the plan to support DPI panel in uboot.

Hi Robert,
DPI/HDMI support is currently under active development.
I can share with you patches within a day or two to enable DPI at U-boot. Though it will take time to get that support in SDK as of now.

I refer to the patches from https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1347685/am625-how-to-develop-dpi-display-driver-in-uboot?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=am62x%25252525252520dpi%25252525252520panel%25252525252520uboot# then the DPI panel can display splash screen at Uboot now.

Have you planned to upstream these patches?

Hi,
We cannot test DPI on our EVMs and hence we are developing support for HDMI in U-Boot. We do plan to upstream these patches as soon as HDMI can be integrated.
