TDA4VM-Q1: Regarding the issue of no log output when starting from EMMC.

Hi，

We encountered a problem while trying to boot the system from EMMC, as there was no output from the Linux serial port.

There is no problem with starting the SD card. Setting the dip switches SW8 and SW9 to the mode inside the red box in the middle of the bottom respectively will not start and there will be no logs.

I have checked the current of NorFlash and there is no problem.

Here are the partitions of NorFlash, where I burned tiboot3, tispl, and u-boot.

Please help me investigate the above.

Can you provide more clarity on what you are trying to achieve specifically on how eMMC and Ospi(nor flash) are related here?

Hi，

We want to implement NorFlash+EMMC boot, storing tiboot3, tispl, u-boot, etc. in NorFlash, where EMMC is the root file system.

So basically is the issue that you have set the boot switch settings to that of NORFlash, but the boot logs are not coming up ?

Hi，

Yes, there is no log output from the Linux serial port.

It seems that tispl.bin and tiboot3.bin were not successfully read from NorFlash.
