System hangs with custom 8168 board...

We have a custom designed board with DM8168 based on TI-EVM board. We have issues with few boards where we suspect possible soldering or assembly issues.

In one board, we observe that firmware download for M3VPSS hangs and subsequently the board itself hangs (hard reset required).

We run the prcm_config_app given as part of the TI EZSDK before we do the firmware download. We see that if we enable the writes to RM_IVAHD_RSTCTRL for MORE THAN ONE IVAHD cores (through the IVAHDClkEnable function in prcm_config_app), then this system hang on firmware download happens. Effectively, it seems if the IVAHD "logic and SL2" (as per comments in prcm code) is turned on, then the board hangs up and a hard reset is required.

If you have any inputs on what and how to debug this issue it would be of great help.
