I am currently planning the software architecture for a new development project. My goal is to use one ICSSG for EtherCAT communication and the other ICSSG for real-time data sampling. The Distributed Clock should be used to trigger the data conversion process.
I attempted to use the TSR (Time Sync Router) for synchronization, but I was unable to trigger the Task Manager directly.
Additionally, I believe it is necessary to synchronize the EPWM module as well.
Has anyone successfully implemented such a synchronization setup? What would be the recommended approach to achieve precise triggering using the Distributed Clock, including EPWM synchronization?
