Hello Team,

I would like to confirm whether the TDA4VEN SoC supports direct analog HD video output. If so, which interface or port is used for this functionality?
If analog output is not natively supported, what is TI’s recommended approach for converting digital display signals (such as DPI or DSI) to analog HD video?.
If external Video encoder IC is necessary, could you please assist with video Encoder technical team to suggest part number and interfacing TDA4V EN SoC to Video Encoder.

    Hi Srikanth,

    no, TDA4AEN does not support direct analog output. It supports digital output. but digital output can be converted into analog using external video encoder. What is the output resolution that you want to get from analog output?

    Understood. Could you recommend external video encoder that can be interface to TDA4VEN SoC to convert Digital output to Analog Output. Standard resolution for analog PAL is typically 720x576 pixels, we are looking for. Please recommend external video encoder chipset.
