I just got the EVK for the 6678L (TMDXEVM6678L)...the OOB demo (HUA) works ok, but when I use CCS to build the project (C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\mcsdk_2_00_00_beta2\demos\hua\evmc6678l) and load the .out file, the browser side doesn't work...but the UART seems to display the correct data...any idea?

    I did update the MCSDK and CCS to v5.0.3.00028...When I try to register CCS, it ask me about Activation ID....I couldn't find anything related to Activation ID in the TMDXEVM6678L box...any idea?

    Hi murad qahwash

        Please Check you CCS Help->Code Composer Studio Licensing Information,  You can see you license Status and type.  If not licensed, then ensure the computer can connect to internet, then you will get a full license. 

     If you only want to update the mcsdk ,you can download the new version from http://www.ti.com/tool/bioslinuxmcsdk  and resintall the mcsdk.

    Try  cp  $YOUR_EVM_DVD$\CCS_5.0.3\setup_CCS_5.0.3.00023\install_images\ccscore\license\*    $YOUR_CCS_INSTALL_LOCATION$\ccsv5\ccs_base\DebugServer\license\

    Then try to download and run a program on the EVM to see if it works.

    Deal Han and Eric,

    I fixed the license issue by moving the .lic file from the DVD to ti folder...now it shows:

    Status: Licensed

    License Type: Free License

     

    I am using:

    mcsdk_2_00_05_17

    ccs_base_5.0.3.00028

     

    built/downloaded the Demo-HUA project and still doesn't work frm CCS, but OOB still work.

    Is the IP setup right in your net environment?

    Try DHCP by setting the user switch.

    I tried the DHCP and no luck...the OOB code stil work, but not when using CCS...btw, this is my second EVK...I thought the first one we got was damaged...I've been using CCS 2.xx for 7 years and I am so frustrated with the eclips/CCs...hopefully once I get used to it, I appreciate the features of the new change!!!

    I get different failures at different runs...here is an example of my last run:

    I found another thread deals with the same problem and solved by " "...it has to do with SW3 switch settings to EMIF...Now demo works ok.
