PCI Express EP device link-up failure with ti8148 EVM

Hi,

I am using TI8148 EVM to test PCI Express End point device. The set-up is to connect the PCI Express endpoint device to the Root complex port of ti8148 EVM.

The End point device link-up is not happening and the device is not getting detected on the ti8148. The EP device is configured with X1 link.

I had made changes to the hardware for the PERST line to set as OUTPUT (default High) and i am asserting the PCIe_POR using i2c write command

as described in the PSP Root Complex Document.The kernel is build with PCI support.

Do i need to do any other setting to detect the EP device connected.

Note: The PCIe End-point device is getting detected on other X86 PCs.

Please help to resolve this issue. Is there any known issue with PCI express root complex on 8148 EVM?
